How to Watch All
the Tennis on TV

If you are as much a tennis fan as we are here at Tennis Creative, watching tennis on tv is simply a must. There is nothing better than being able to watch in awe as your favourite tennis players take to the court week in and week out. We learn through watching the players at the top of the game do what the do, and it inspires us to get back to the tennis court and start practicing.

Unfortunately for us tennis fans, no one tv channel or streaming service has access to every single tennis match. So, to make things a little easier for you, we’ve put together a guide to watching all the tennis on tv, including every tournament on the men’s and women’s tours and their respective broadcasting channels.

The Short Version

As we said, no broadcasting channel or streaming service has access to every tennis match, but Amazon Prime comes pretty close. An Amazon Prime subscription will allow you to watch the vast majority of tennis matches on both the men’s and women’s professional tours. With the exception of the Australian Open, Roland Garros and the Wimbledon Championships, Amazon Prime offers access to every tennis match on the WTA tour and access to most matches on the ATP tour.

Considering Roland Garros and the Wimbledon Championships are available to watch for free in the UK through the ITV and the BBC respectively, the only event you’ll be missing out on will be the Australian Open. Coverage of the Australian Open is exclusive to Eurosport, but snapping up a one month subscription at the beginning of the year for just £6.99 will get you access to every match played at the Grand Slam.

How to watch the
ATP Tour Events on TV
in 2023

Both Amazon Prime and Tennis TV offer access to almost every tennis match on the men’s tour, with the exception of the Grand Slams, which are often covered by Eurosport or local broadcasting channels like the ITV and the BBC. In the UK, the WTA tour events are broadcast exclusively by Amazon Prime. The channel has access to every WTA tournament including the US Open Championships. As usual, the other Grand Slam coverage is provided by Eurosport, the ITV and the BBC.

As we mentioned before, Amazon Prime holds the rights to broadcast the US Open Championships in the UK. However, the Australian Open, French Open and Wimbledon are broadcast on different channels.
